The Survival Revival
This Summer, NEKO, the Vermont Workers’ Center, and more, are joining to host a Survival Revival. This is a multi-day event in June where we will learn about the history of the region and of other movements, join together in skill shares and systems building, and celebrate our work through song and art builds. NEKO is grateful to be the recipients of a grant from the Kairos Center for Religions, Rights, and Social Justice to support the work of the Survival Revivals in Vermont. This critical work includes a vision for long term, non-partisan, and multigenerational organizing to create systems that uplift the humanity of everyone and work for all of us.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS TRAINING – MARCH 30
Join NEKO and ACLU VT for a “Know Your Rights” training. This is an opportunity for community members to learn their rights at protests and how to engage with law enforcement. Hosted in person at the Orleans Federated Church or online, on Monday, March 30 from 6-7:30pm.

NEKO Annual Convention
NEKO will hold it’s Annual Convention in April! Per our bylaws, the Convention is a business meeting to discuss the operations of the organization, including it’s campaigns and leadership! We will also have food and music. More info to come!

We are looking for secretary and treasurer candidates! If you are interested, or have any questions, please email Audrey!
