Barton Hub Giving Pantry Needs

The Barton Hub Giving Pantry is a community run and supported pantry at the Barton Hub. We are not an official food pantry through the Vermont Foodbank. You can donate to NEKO to support our work.

We are always looking for volunteers to cook and serve meals, lead activities, and more. Come by the Hub during open hours to get involved!

The list below are common items we restock the pantry with, but are not the only items we accept.

  • Marinara Sauce
  • Boxes of pasta, spaghetti, penne, rigatoni
  • Sprinkle cheese
  • Cereal, instant oatmeal
  • Peanut butter
  • Grape jelly or strawberry jelly
  • Chef Boyardee mini ravioli, spaghetti-os
  • Chunky protein heavy soups
  • Microwavable Dinty Moore style stews
  • Sleeves of Uncle Ben Rice instant rice Any variety of these items will do, just remember don’t get lots of different flavors, but rather a lot of one or two flavors
  • Knorr’s instant sides
  • Chicken noodle soups
  • Canned chicken, tuna, pulled pork
  • Chicken salad ready-to-go
  • Unflavored apple sauce
  • Individually wrapped granola/nuts
  • Individually wrapped granola bars
  • Idaho instant mashed potatoes
  • Suave shampoo/conditioner
  • Speed stick deodorant
  • Suave deodorant
  • Toothbrushes and toothpaste
  • Dove soap/body wash
  • Toilet paper
  • Small dawn dish soaps
  • Kitchen Sponges
  • TUPPERWARE!
  • Leach Memorial Library, Irasburg. M/W/Th, 3-6pm, Saturday 10-3pm
  • Items purchased at C&C can be left at the tiered boxes by the cashiers
  • Items purchased at Kinney drugs can be left in the tiered boxes.
  • At the Barton Hub, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-3pm.

For C&C/Curriers Shoppers, we’ve created a guide on what items from the rewards systems we need at the Hub. Items can be dropped off at the Hub, or for C&C shoppers, at the bins at the front of the store.
